In the Vilnius Shalom Festival program — a special concert titled “Jazz Against Antisemitism.” During the evening, one of the most talented young jazz ensembles, 21st Century Quintet, along with singer and flutist Rugilė Daujotaitė, will present original jazz interpretations of Jewish music.

On October 19, the Vilnius Shalom Festival presents a special concert, “Jazz Against Antisemitism.” The evening will feature one of the most promising young jazz ensembles, 21st Century Quintet, alongside vocalist and flutist Rugilė Daujotaitė, offering original jazz interpretations of Jewish music.
🎷 21st Century Quintet unites young jazz musicians from Lithuania and Latvia. Formed in 2019, the group has appeared at Vilnius Jazz, Vilnius Mama Jazz, Elektrėnai and Klaipėda Castle Jazz stages and earned recognition in the “Jazz Scene” competition. Known for their distinctive, emotional style, the quintet’s leader, saxophonist Davit Avetisyan, infuses Armenian folk motifs that transport listeners into the world of exotic cultures. In 2024–2025 they released the album On Ararat (2024) and the singles Erzrumi Shoror (2025) and Footprints (2025).
